I have been shooting for over 60 years (Dad taught me when I was 6) and have a large collection of guns, military experience (Navy veteran of Vietnam) and work weekly at my gun club’s Junior Program teaching young shooters (two now in Olympic Trials) and will get my CCW Instructor license by the end of next month. And knowing that I don’t and can’t know everything, have copied many of your very educational articles to use along with NRA’s course materials to insure those who attend my classes are as prepared as I can make them.

As I do with friends now, I will be taking them personally to a large and well-stocked gun store here in (The Peoples Republic of) Connecticut to make sure that their first gun is what they really want and fits them so that they are happy with it and stay with our sport! And I will kick in an NRA membership as a bonus!
