Steiner eOptics has recently been debuting two of its impressive, rail-mounted lasers. They’re the TOR Mini And the TOR Micro. And they’re made to fit in most commercially-made holsters on the market today.
This device is built for aiming your handgun laser. And its housing is made from durable military-grade aluminum. In addition, both the housing and the rail mount are splash-proof and dust-proof, in accordance with IP54 standards.
Both the TOR Mjni and TOR Micro come in red and green options. They both boast a direct diode style, which helps them remain effective in extreme environments.
The lasers are built with impressive features, like ambidextrous operation (thanks to its left and right fire buttons). It also offers constant power drive, which will produce a consistent laser during the entire life of the battery.
Not to mention, the housing has a low battery indicator, as well as both elevation and windage bore sight adjustment screws.
One of the best things about the TOR Micro and Mini systems is that they both work with a universal rail mount. This allows the device to mount to any pistol with a Weaver or Picatinny style rail.
According to Guns.com:
The TOR Micro measures 1.06-inches in height with a width of 1.02-inches and a length of 1.83-inches. The TOR Mini offers a height of 1.17-inches with a width measuring 1.26-inches and a length at 2.19-inches.
The Mini also touts adjustable laser power with several settings to include low, medium, high and high pulse.
Additionally, the Mini supplies an internal accelerometer that powers an optional Auto-On feature so the laser will automatically turn on when the pistol is drawn and brought up to level. Alternatively, the laser will automatically turn off once returned to the holster or set down. The TOR Micro is priced at $199, while the TOR Mini slips in a little higher at $299.
